As a very young child, Kathy Davis was drawn to and enchanted by the alluring scents and vivid colors of the flowers, butterflies and birds in her grandfather's garden. The artist in the child was awakened, and she set out on a path that would lead to her future as an art teacher, designer, writer, mentor and muse to millions.

She started her company in 1990, working at a small drawing table in the corner of her bedroom. From those modest beginnings, she launched several lines of greeting cards with various publishers. Since then she has grown to become one of the greeting card industry's most respected talents.

Today, Kathy is one of the world's leading designers, and her work delights over 100 million people each year. Her love of nature, understanding of people and desire to give back to the world are driving forces in her creative process.
